Product Overview

The dialyzer is where dialysis actually happens: blood and dialysate flow on opposite sides of a semi-permeable membrane, and everything else in the circuit exists to serve that exchange.

This high-flux series uses polysulfone hollow fibers with a dense inner-layer structure — the selective skin that separates the blood and dialysate compartments. The fiber bundle geometry is optimized so that, at clinical blood and dialysate flows, the membrane clears middle and larger uremic molecules alongside small solutes, supporting high-flux treatment for chronic renal failure patients.

Fiber control technology gives the product a defined sieving coefficient distribution — meaning the membrane's permeability profile is a controlled manufacturing outcome, not a batch-to-batch variable. Specific sieving values are stated in the product Instructions for Use.

The series is offered in two effective areas: HF15 for standard adult sessions and HF18 where a larger membrane surface supports higher clearance targets. Larger sizes in the same platform are available for programmes that need them — see the series lineup below.

Four Design Decisions Behind the Membrane

💧

Built for High-Flux Therapy

A high-flux hollow fiber dialyzer intended for hemodialysis treatment of chronic renal failure patients — the mainstream modality in most maintenance programs.

🧬

Middle & Large Molecule Clearance

An optimized hollow-fiber membrane structure assists the clearance of middle and larger uremic molecules, the clinically limiting fraction in long-term dialysis.

📐

Defined Sieving Coefficient Profile

Fiber control technology produces a specific sieving coefficient distribution, so membrane permeability is a controlled, repeatable property. Exact values per the IFU.

🧱

Dense Inner-Layer Structure

The polysulfone fiber carries a dense inner layer — the selective barrier that defines solute separation while the open support structure maintains flow.

🏭

Supply at tender scale. Manufactured by a maker of dialyzers with two specialized production bases and stable capacity at the level of tens of millions of units per year — volume is not the constraint; documentation and lead time are managed per order.

Specifications

Full performance data — Kuf, clearance curves and sieving coefficients — is issued with the Instructions for Use and shared with qualified buyers.

Model Membrane Effective Area Flux Class Performance Data
HF15 Polysulfone 1.5 m² confirm High-flux Datasheet on request
HF18 Polysulfone 1.8 m² High-flux Kuf 95 mL/h·mmHg · max TMP 500 mmHg

HF18 performance figures are taken from the product labeling of the photographed unit. HF15 area follows the series naming convention and is marked for confirmation against the IFU. Sterility, priming volume and endotoxin specifications are stated in the IFU.
